Andrew Ringer, MD

Andrew Ringer, MD, is a neurosurgeon with Mayfield Brain & Spine, Chief of Neurosciences for TriHealth, and Director of the Division of Neurosurgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. He is chairman of Mayfield's Board of Directors and a board member of the Mayfield Education & Research Foundation.

As a co-founder of the Endovascular Neurosurgery Research Group, a national research consortium, Dr. Ringer has long been at the forefront of clinical research in the use of endovascular approaches to diagnosing and treating cerebrovascular disease.

Ryan Tackla, MD

Ryan Tackla, MD, is a neurosurgeon with Mayfield Brain & Spine. He is dual trained in both endovascular and neurovascular surgery.

Mario Zuccarello, MD

Mario Zuccarello, MD, is Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Cincinnati and the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute.

Dr. Zuccarello and Sandy Patton founded the Tri-state Brain Aneurysm Support Group in 2002.

Dr. Zuccarello is dedicated to clinical research in neurovascular disease and the development of new neurosurgical techniques for the treatment of stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, vasospasm, carotid artery disease, and moyamoya disease. While Cincinnati has become widely known for its leadership in stroke research, treatment, and the development of clot-busting drugs, Dr. Zuccarello has led a quiet revolution in the prevention and treatment of brain hemorrhages, which rank among the most hazardous conditions of the brain.
